The Biergarten

Three hundred seats of communal tables between the building and Smale Riverfront Park, with the Roebling Bridge doing the decorating. First come, first seated — the German way. Sharing a table with strangers is not a bug; by the second round it stops feeling like sharing with strangers.

Dogs welcome on the rail side, water bowls provided. On game days we open early and the garden fills by first pitch, so plan accordingly or embrace standing.

Rain closes the garden; the hall absorbs the crowd. Mostly.

Monthly • Tapped at 4pm sharp

One cask, conditioned in the cellar, hand-pumped until it kicks. The brewers pick the experiment; recent firkins include a dry-hopped pils, a cherrywood-smoked dunkel and one chamomile thing we agreed never to repeat.

Brewer's Table Dinner

Monthly • 6:30pm • Barrel Room • $65

Five courses from the kitchen, five pours from the cellar, and Anja explaining what you're drinking whether you asked or not. Twenty-four seats; they go fast.

Weekly • 7pm • Beer Hall

Six rounds, one of them always about Cincinnati history because our quizmaster used to give tours at the museum. Winning team drinks on a $50 tab.

Oktoberfest at the Lager House

Third weekend of September

The Märzen arrives by horse-drawn wagon, the first keg is tapped with a mallet, and the biergarten becomes the closest thing to Munich that Ohio law allows. Stein-holding city final, brass band Saturday and Sunday, lederhosen encouraged but not enforced.

Two rooms, no cookie-cutter packages — tell us what you're planning and we'll build the menu around it.

The Barrel Room

Seats 40, standing 60. Oak barrels on three walls, a private tap wall with four handles, and the good long table down the middle. Rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, and one memorable divorce celebration.

The Riverview Loft

Seats 90, standing 130, with the bridge and the river filling the windows. Full AV, private bar, elevator access. Books 6 to 12 months out for fall Saturdays — Oktoberfest season is spoken for through 2027.

Game Days

We're two blocks from the ballpark and one from the stadium. On game days the whole building goes first-come except pre-booked private rooms. The garden opens 90 minutes before kickoff or first pitch.
