Sixteen taps, zero shortcuts

Year-Round Lagers

Every house lager spends at least six weeks in the tank. The tap list below changes with the seasons; the first four don't change at all.

Soft, bready and clean — the beer we sell more of than everything else combined.

Dark bread crust and cocoa without the heaviness. Our brewers' pick with the schnitzel.

Crisp, dry, properly bitter, lagered a full six weeks. Hallertau Mittelfrüh and patience.

The remaining taps rotate on the brewers' whim — a zwickel here, a kölsch-style there when we feel like annoying purists from Düsseldorf and Cologne at the same time. The chalkboard over the bar is always current; this page is updated most Mondays.

The Barrel Program

Twice a year we fill a handful of bourbon barrels from across the river — this is Cincinnati, the bourbon does not have far to travel. Our doppelbock spends ten months in oak and comes out at something closer to a fireside sipper than a lager. Bottled in 500ml swing-tops, sold at the bar only, limit two per person because we've learned.

Barrel releases are announced on the chalkboard and nowhere else. Ask your server what's in the wood right now.
